This is a fast-changing situation that we are watching very closely. We are taking guidance from many sources; governments and health officials, our leaders and managers, but also from our employees who are greatly affected by this outbreak.

Here are some of the ways we are protecting our employees and serving our communities and customers during this time.

Our Clients

Since the coronavirus outbreak began, acting on the guidance from the Department of Homeland Security and our clients for the communications sector, we are ensuring products and services are delivered across the country, while taking every precaution to protect our employees’ well-being and that of our client’s customers. We are taking extra precautions to ensure all products are handled hygienically at every step, from manufacturing facilities to consumer homes.

Our Employees

The safety of ITC employees, our clients and our communities is our highest priority. Around the world, local teams have closely followed guidance from health authorities to protect the health and safety of employees across all ITC locations. Safety is a DAILY dialogue with our employees.
Since the coronavirus outbreak began, we have implemented additional cleaning and sanitization routines, focusing on high-touch surfaces, and have taken steps to restrict visitors to our facilities.

We have reinforced hygiene and exposure guidelines with our employees. We have strict protocols in place if an employee is ill or had direct or indirect contact with someone with COVID-19. We strictly adhere to isolation and sanitization protocols and carry out any necessary quarantines, in line with guidance from local health officials.

Our New Way of Working

In line with recommendations to reduce outside gatherings and increase social distancing, ITC directed the large majority of office-based employees to work remotely. This includes employees based at the company’s headquarters in Sacramento, until further notice.

Our Travel Policy

We have suspended all business domestic travel at this time. Employees who travel to high-risk regions on personal time and against company advice are required to quarantine for 14 days upon return.
